Visa interview preparation for Pakistani applicants
Plain, honest preparation for a short embassy interview: what is usually asked and how to answer consistently.
What the officer wants to confirm
The interview is short. The officer checks three things: the purpose of the trip is genuine, you can pay for it, and you have good reasons to return to Pakistan. Answers that match your documents are the strongest preparation.
Questions that are commonly asked
- Where are you going, for how long and why?
- Who is paying for the trip?
- What do you do for work or study, and for how long?
- Where will you stay and what is your plan?
- Have you travelled abroad before?
How to answer
- Answer only what is asked, in short and clear sentences
- Keep dates, employer, income and itinerary exactly as in your file
- Bring your original documents in the same order as the checklist
- If you do not know something, say so instead of guessing
What not to do
- Do not memorise answers that differ from your documents
- Do not carry documents you cannot explain
- Do not argue with the officer if asked for more papers
FAQs
Does every visa need an interview?
No. Many e-visas and several visa-centre applications have no interview. The country page tells you what applies.
Can an agency attend the interview for me?
No. Where an interview or biometrics is required you attend in person. We prepare your file and brief you before the appointment.
What if I am asked for an extra document?
Provide it if you have it, or follow the officer's instructions on how to submit it. Message us if you need help with the next step.
